Kyryll Chudomirovich Flins is a 5-star Electro polearm main DPS, set to be the second Nod-Krai character released after Ineffa on September 10th and is set to perfectly complement her kit. Besides being a rare male character in the game, he’s also a Ratnik from the Lightkeepers faction, protecting Nod-Krai from the Abyss. He is set to focus on making the most of the new Lunar-Charged reaction, as well as dealing many hits of successive Electro damage with both elemental infusion of his basic and charged attacks, as well as his elemental burst. This guide is here to help you find out all you need to know about his abilities, materials for pre-farming, best teams, artifact sets and more.
Flins Kit – Normal Attack, Skill and Burst
As a main DPS, Flins is designed to take up spare field time during cooldown of other characters skills. He does that by switching to his Manifest Flame form, in which his attacks gain Electro-infusion and he gains new enhanced Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst abilities. Here’s a detailed description of his abilities:
Pocztowy Demonspear
Normal Attack – Performs up to 5 consecutive spear strikes. Charged Attack – Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to perform a forward spear throw. Plunging Attack – Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
Ancient Rite: Arcane Light
Flins summons forth the ancient power concealed within his lamp and switches to his Manifest Flame form. This form has the following characteristics:
· Flins’s Normal and Charged Attacks deal Electro DMG that cannot be overridden by other Elemental infusions, and he is unable to perform Plunging Attacks.
· His Interruption Resistance is Increased
· His Elemental Skill Ancient Rite: Arcane Light is replaced with the special Elemental Skill Northland Spearstorm.
Alternate Skill: Northland Spearstorm
Flins summons a flurry of spears in front, dealing AoE Electro DMG and causing his Elemental Burst Ancient Ritual: Cometh the Night to be replaced with the special Elemental Burst Thunderous Symphony for the next 6s. The base CD of Northland Spearstorm lasts for 6s and will not be affected by other effects.
Ancient Ritual: Cometh the Night
Flins unleashes the true power of his lamp, dealing AoE Electro DMG and, after a short delay, dealing 3 further instances of AoE Electro DMG that will be considered Lunar-Charged DMG. Moonsign: Nascent Gleam: If there are thunderclouds nearby, Flins will deal an additional 2 instances of Lunar-Charged AoE Electro DMG. After using the special Elemental Skill Northland Spearstorm, Flins’s Elemental Burst Ancient Ritual: Cometh the Night will be replaced with the special Elemental Burst Thunderous Symphony for the next 6s.
Alternate Burst: Thunderous Symphony
Consume less Elemental Energy to unleash a special Elemental Burst. Flins deals a single instance of AoE Electro DMG that is considered Lunar-Charged DMG. Moonsign: Nascent Gleam: If there are thunderclouds nearby, Flins will deal an additional instance of Lunar-Charged AoE Electro DMG.

Best Weapons for Flins
Bloodsoaked Ruins – Flins signature weapon – 674 Base ATK, 22.05% Crit Rate at level 90. For 3.5s after using an Elemental Burst, characters’ Lunar-Charged DMG is increased by 36%. For 6s after triggering Lunar-Charged, characters’ CRIT DMG is increased by 28% and they regain 12 Elemental Energy. Elemental Energy can be restored this way once every 14s.
A very niche polearm intended to boost Flins Lunar-Charged reaction damage and help with Elemental Burst uptime. While it is easily Flins best-in-slot weapon, absence of usability on any other characters limits its pull value, therefore it seems to be intended for people who want to get serious about becoming a Flins main and maximizing damage in his Lunar-Charged teams.
Staff of the Scarlet Sands – On top of the very hefty Crit Rate bonus of 44.1%, its weapon effect is also perfectly usable by Flins, as his top Electro-Charged teams will have plenty of Elemental Mastery being shared around the team and with this weapon he can channel those buffs to further increase his ATK. A very solid option if you already have it and don’t feel like pulling on gacha for his signature weapon.
Primordial Jade Winged-Spear – This weapon shares the Base ATK and Crit Rate of Flins signature weapon. Flins attacks fast, thus making it easy to get the 7 stacks necessary to get a sizable damage buff from this weapon. If you have obtained this weapon from losing the 50/50 on a previous gacha banner or got it from standard banner, it’s certainly a viable alternative and well above all the 4-star options.
Recommended Flins Builds
Flins is an on-field DPS focusing on amplifying the Lunar-charged reaction, which is able to land critical hits, therefore, artifact sets which can increase the chance to land a critical hit are usually the best options for him. Here are the recommended artifact sets for Flins:
4-piece Night of the Sky’s Unveiling – The new Nod-Krai on-field set and hands-down the best artifact set for Flins. Having just one other Nod-Krai character (which will in most instances be Ineffa) will give him not just the flat 80 Elemental Mastery boost from 2-piece effect, but also 30% Crit Rate, which when combined with a Crit Rate weapon, will make Flins much less dependent on the substat rolls and on top of that, it also grants 10-20% DMG buff for Moonglare reactions (one of which is of course, Lunar-charged).
4-piece Marechaussee Hunter is an usable set with 36% Crit Rate bonus, but it impairs the disadvantage of having to pair Flins with characters like Furina, to make the most out of this set bonus. These characters are usually not very synergistic with Flins as he prefers to pair with Ineffa and her shields, as well as Hydro off-fielders like Aino, Yelan and Xingqiu.
4-piece Thundering Fury is an old artifact set from Version 1.0, which has been updated to boost Lunar-charged damage, on top of that it has a nice 15% Electro DMG bonus and some cooldown reduction utility for Flins Elemental Skill. Overall, this set is a downgrade from both Night of the Sky’s Unveiling and Marechaussee Hunter, as it does not grant any Crit Rate, however, it has its niche use-cases. For example, should you wish to equip a weapon with high Crit Rate substat such as Staff of the Scarlet Sands and don’t wish to restrict your team with HP reduction mechanics, it’s a perfectly viable choice.
Top Teams for Flins
If you’ll want to make the most out of Flins, you’ll likely have to use Ineffa as well, as she just brings too much to the table to pass on her. There’s her shield, more Lunar Charged reactions, 120 EM buff for on-field character, 14% buff to Lunar Charged damage, extra level of Moonsign. If you have her C1, you get a whopping 50% Lunar Charged damage boost and her signature weapon adds another 40%. On top of that, she can use the new Silken Moon’s Serenade set, which provides an extra 120 EM and 10% more Lunar damage.

Ineffa
Aino
Sucrose/Kazuha
Alternative Team without Aino C6:

All Flins Constellations
A lot of Flins damage potential and comfort is locked behind his C1. His C1 substantially improves his energy generation and reduces cooldown of his alternate skill – Northland Spearstorm, which in turn results in an ability to cast another Thunderous Symphony elemental burst per rotation. In this regard, playing C0 Flins can feel clunky, just like playing C0 Wriothesely or C0 Neuvillette, therefore it is highly recommended to get this constellation even before considering to pull for his weapon.
Flins C2 makes spamming Northland Spearstorm even easier and further reduces his Energy Recharge requirements, thus, you can prolong his field-time as you see fit. This constellation is not as essential as C1 for Flins, but brings additional comfort if you don’t feel like performing rotations perfectly.
His C3 and C5 increases by 3 his Elemental Burst and Elemental Skill levels respectively. Meanwhile, his C4 provides a sizable permanent ATK and Elemental Mastery buff. Finally, his C6 grants an additional multiplier to Lunar-Charged reactions dealt both by Flins himself and by other party members.
Below are the full effects of Flins constellations for your reference:
C1 (Part the Veil of Snow) – The cooldown of the special Elemental Skill Northland Spearstorm is reduced to 4s. Additionally, when party members trigger Lunar-Charged reactions, Flins will recover 5 Elemental Energy. This effect can occur once every 5.5s.
C2 (The Devil’s Wall) – For the next 6s after using the special Elemental Skill Northland Spearstorm, when Flins’s next Normal Attack hits an opponent, it will deal an additional 50% of Flins’s ATK as AoE Electro DMG. This DMG is considered Lunar-Charged DMG. Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam: The special Elemental Skill Northland Spearstorm can be used 1 additional time.
C3 (Stranger in the Night) – Increases the Level of Ancient Ritual: Cometh the Night by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
C4 (Night on Bald Mountain) – Flins’s ATK is increased by 20%. Additionally, his Passive Talent “Whispering Flame” is enhanced: Flins’s Elemental Mastery is increased by 10% of his ATK. The maximum increase obtainable this way is 220.
C5 (Exile’s Shadow) – Increases the Level of Ancient Rite: Arcane Light by 3.Maximum upgrade level is 15.
C6 (Songs and Dances of Death) – The DMG dealt to opponents by Flins’s Lunar-Charged reactions is elevated by 30%. Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam: All party members’ Lunar-Charged DMG is elevated by 10%.
Flins Banner Recommendations
Flins is the second Nod-Krai character that is being released and also the second one that focuses on the new Lunar-Charged reaction. Naturally, he is the best teammate for Ineffa and she is his best teammate as well. So if you want to make the most out of your Ineffa or want to build the best Lunar-Charged focused teams, Flins is a highly recommended pull. Additionally, Flins is the first tall male Main DPS character since Wriothesley, all the way back in 2023, which makes male character collectors very excited for them. Meanwhile, his Elemental Burst animation has been previously compared to Sung Jin-woo abilities and design from Solo Leveling franchise. So, there’s many reasons to pull for Flins banner, whether its his combat potential, team synergy or aesthetics, many players will find something they like in him.
