Arguably, some of the best weapons in ARC Raiders, Anvil & Ferro, are the backbone of any meta PvE or PvP loadout. Surely, whether you’re farming ARC or wiping squads in PvP, you want the best weapons fast (and without risking your stash on RNGesus).
Read on for blueprint farming and quick shortcuts. Just remember: blueprint drops are random, so even with the best routes, nothing’s 100%.
And if you are REALLY NOT into the grind, you can always spend a few bucks and buy ARC Raiders weapons from fellow players who specialize in farming.
Why Anvil and Ferro dominate the meta in ARC Raiders

| Anvil: single-action handgun | Ferro: break-action, single-shot rifle |
Anvil
The Anvil is a hand cannon that punches through most things. It uses heavy ammo, hits like a truck, and is light enough for aggressive solo or squad play. Versatile from close to mid-range, it’s the “get out of my face” answer to both ARC and humans.
Anvil IV silenced is one of the most powerful against both players and ARC.
Ferro
This break-action rifle is the budget king. It’s dirt cheap to craft, packs one-shot power, and has goodarmor penetration. Perfect for early-game ARC farming and a solid PvP backup. Miss your shot, and you’ll be punished, but hit it, and the fight is already halfway through.
The most lethal combos: clear and confirm
Ferro clears, Stitcher/Kettle confirms kills. Initiate PvP with Ferro and confirm the kill with Stitcher or Kettle.
NOTE: Ferro shot breaks light shield and drains some hp, Kettle/Stitcher finishes them before they can even react to the Ferro shot.
How to unlock Anvil fast
Blueprint drop RNG can suck. Players recommend focusing on one loot-rich map (like Dam Battlegrounds) and learning every cache spawn before rotating.
- Night raids offer higher blueprint drop rates, but higher risk.
- Manage your stash to keep backup weapons and rotate your best gear for high-value runs only.
- Look for a red locker. 👀
Blueprint farming spot
Dam Battlegrounds, under the raised eastern highway. This is the most consistent blueprint farming spot. Look for the gap between Raider Outpost East and East Broken Bridge. It’s usually quiet, ARC-free, and a quick run from spawn.
NOTE: Use a zipline and jump just before hitting the gap.

NOTE: For a backup, Marano Station in Buried City sometimes spawns the Anvil.
Crafting requirements
You’ll need a Gunsmith bench level 1, 5 mechanical components, and 6 gun parts. Mechanical components can be made in the Refiner using metal and rubber parts, which you’ll pick up every run.
Venator nerf alert: Recent patches increased Venator’s weight and dropped its fire rate, so don’t rely on it for 1v3s anymore. Anvil is now the go-to sidearm for overwhelming odds.
How to craft Ferro easily
No blueprint grind needed. Just 5 metal parts and 2 rubber parts at the Gunsmith, and you’re set. Even if you lose it, crafting another takes minutes, not hours.
Ferro is the best early-game weapon, but don’t sleep on it later on. Ferro IV is genuinely great. If you want value, nothing beats Ferro for the price.
