We are rapidly approaching version 6.0 – this means an entirely new region of the game to explore and a whole roster of new characters to meet. One of them is Lauma – a Moonchant Envoy of the Frostmoon Scions coming to the game in 6.0. As a Dendro character with a strong focus on enhancing bloom reactions, she will bring many characters that were abandoned for a couple years back into the meta. Nilou and her bountiful cores stand to benefit the most, however, Nahida, Ayato, Yelan and even Kaveh will synergize well with her. If you have these characters already kitted out and want to bring them back to life, Lauma is the perfect character to pull for! She will be useful for exploration as well, as she’s able to transform into her deer form to move rapidly across terrain.
Now, if you came here for some juicy Lauma’s leaks, please read further to find out all about her kit, materials to max her out, best weapons, builds and teams in which she will fit perfectly.
Lauma Kit Overview
Lauma is a 5-star Dendro catalyst support character which amplifies your bloom damage, shreds enemy Dendro and Hydro resistances and provides healing. you can think of her as something akin to Escoffier, just for bloom instead of freeze reactions. Simply having her in the team will convert all of your bloom reactions into more powerful Lunar-Bloom, which can not only crit, but also are further scaled depending on Lauma’s Elemental Mastery.
Normal Attack – Verdant Trail. Lauma’s normal attacks consist of three consecutive strikes dealing Dendro damage, while her charged attack triggers a Spirit Envoy transformation that enhances interruption resistance, allows rapid forward movement with jumps, and afterward temporarily converts her charged attack into an AoE Dendro strike called Spiritcall Prayer.
Elemental Skill – Runo: Dawnless Rest of Karsikko. Lauma’s elemental skill deals AoE Dendro damage directly when tapped, but when held, consumes Verdant Dew to deliver two instances of AoE Dendro damage—including one considered Lunar-Bloom damage—and grants Moon Song stacks. Upon casting either version, Lauma forms an AoE field around herself that follows the active character and deals AoE Dendro damage within it once every 2 seconds, this field lasts for 15 seconds. Additionally, opponents hit by Lauma’s Elemental Skill or its summoned attacks have their Dendro and Hydro resistance reduced for 10 seconds.
Elemental Burst – Hallowed Hymn: All Hearts Become the Beating Moon. Lauma activates her Elemental Burst to gain 18 Pale Hymn stacks, and consuming Moon Song stacks within 15 seconds further grants additional Pale Hymn stacks. Pale Hymn stacks boost the damage of Bloom-related reactions based on Lauma’s Elemental Mastery, with each stack consumed per enemy hit.

Recommended Weapons for Lauma
Spun Mirror of the Nocturnal Firmament – Lauma’s signature weapon – 542 Base ATK, 265 Elemental Mastery at level 90. When a nearby character triggers Lunar-Bloom, gain Waxing Moon, increasing this character’s Elemental Mastery by 60 for 10s; dealing DMG with a Dendro or Hydro Elemental Skill grants Waning Moon, increasing Elemental Mastery by 60 for 4.5s. When both effects occur simultaneously, activate Lunar Cycle, boosting party members’ Bloom DMG by 120%, Hyperbloom and Burgeon DMG by 80%, and Lunar-Bloom DMG by 40%. These effects cannot stack. One of the most niche weapons ever released which, while taking Lauma’s buffing ability to the next level, otherwise has a bunch of useless effects on any other catalyst character currently. Nilou stands to benefit the most from these buffs by a long shot, so if you have her, you should seriously consider saving your primogems for this weapon as well.
A Thousand Floating Dreams – If you don’t feel like wishing on the signature weapon for Lauma, because no other character can use it, this is a more generalist option. Lauma can make use of not just the substat, but also all of the effects of this weapon and it significantly enhances her buffing potential, which is dependent on stacking Elemental Mastery.
Sunny Morning Sleep-In – While Lauma cannot take full advantage of its ability, it’s still a great stat stick and is the third best weapon for Lauma if you have neither of the above
Sacrificial Fragments – A surprisingly decent F2P friendly option for Lauma, which allows her to provide 100% uptime on her resistance shred for Hydro and Dendro, while also giving her a good chunk of Elemental Mastery. The rotations with this weapon are bound to be a bit clunkier though.
Best Genshin Lauma Builds
Lauma’s kit makes her a dedicated off-field buffer for Dendro teams, thus you should focus on sets that increase her ability to perform this role. Here are some of the best artifact sets you should build Lauma with:
4-piece Silken Moon’s Serenade is a new artifact set being released in 6.0 intended for off-field Nod-Krai characters. Not only will it help with Lauma’s Energy Recharge issues, but it will also provide a substantial Elemental Mastery buffs for the whole team, significantly increasing Bloom reaction damage. In addition to that, this set will also buff Moonglare reaction damage, which Lunar-Bloom teams are sure to take advantage of.
4-piece Gilded Dreams is recommended if you don’t feel like farming for a whole new set of artifacts. While a substantial downgrade from Silken Moon’s Serenade, it significantly increases Lauma’s Elemental Mastery, which in turn increases her personal damage and buffing potential. If you have Gilded Dreams set with great substats, you should consider using it instead, as it may take a while to obtain a comparable Silken Moon’s Serenade artifact set.
Best Teams for Lauma
These are the best teams for Lauma, depending on whether you’re going after Nilou Bloom, Hyperbloom or Burgeon oriented teams. While some character slots may be more flexible than others, always make sure that the main DPS is either a Hydro or Dendro character, in other to benefit from resistance shred.

All Lauma Constellations
If you’re considering pulling for Lauma’s constellations, then C1 is a must for comfortable gameplay. Not only can she heal a substantial amount every 2 seconds with no downtime, her exploration abilities are greatly enhanced, allowing you to traverse the map for much greater distances. C1 does not directly increase her power level and thus is intended for casual players primarily. Meanwhile her C2 is the inverse, while not providing any healing or movement perks, it dramatically amplifies her Bloom reactions buffing ability, making her burst nearly twice as powerful. Lauma’s C2 is easily one of the most powerful constellations in the game and you should seriously consider it if you’re pulling for power.
C3 and C5 are your run-of-the-mill talent level increase constellations, while C4 helps to lower her Energy Recharge requirements, neither of these are very impactful. C6 helps with her buff uptime and dramatically boosts her personal damage, so it seems to be focused at true Lauma mains who want to keep her on-field.
Here’s the full list of the constellations and their effects for Lauma:
C1 – After Lauma uses her Elemental Skill or her Elemental Burst, she will gain Threads of Life for 20s.During this time, when nearby party members trigger Lunar-Bloom reactions, nearby active characters will recover HP equal to 500% of Lauma’s Elemental Mastery. This effect can be triggered once every 2s. Additionally, the Stamina cost for Lauma’s Spirit Envoy Form will be reduced by 40%, and its Max Duration will be extended by 5s.
C2 – The Elemental Burst is enhanced: Pale Hymn effects are increased: Party members’ Bloom, Hyperbloom, and Burgeon DMG is further increased by 400% of Lauma’s Elemental Mastery, and their Lunar-Bloom DMG is further increased by 160% of Lauma’s Elemental Mastery. Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam: Party members’ Lunar-Bloom DMG is increased by 40%.
C3 – Increases the Level of Runo: Dawnless Rest of Karsikko by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
C4 – When attacks from the Peregrination of Linnunrata summoned by her Elemental Skill Runo: Dawnless Rest of Karsikko hit opponents, Lauma will regain 4 Elemental Energy. This effect can be triggered once every 5s.
C5 – Increases the Level of Hallowed Hymn: All Hearts Become the Beating Moon by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
C6 – When the Peregrination of Linnunrata attacks opponents, it will deal 1 additional instance of AoE Dendro DMG equal to 320% of Lauma’s Elemental Mastery. This DMG is considered Lunar-Bloom DMG. This instance of DMG will not consume any Pale Hymn stacks and will provide Lauma with 2 stacks of Pale Hymn, as well as refreshing the duration of Pale Hymn stacks gained in this manner. This effect can occur up to 8 times during each Peregrination of Linnunrata. When using the Elemental Skill Runo: Dawnless Rest of Karsikko, all Pale Hymn stacks gained in this manner will be removed. Additionally, when Lauma uses a Normal Attack while she has Pale Hymn stacks, she will consume 1 stack to convert this to deal Dendro DMG equal to 280% of her Elemental Mastery. This DMG is considered Lunar-Bloom DMG and cannot be overridden by other Elemental infusions. Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam: All party members’ Lunar-Bloom DMG is elevated by 10%.
Recommendations for Lauma Banner
Lauma is coming to Genshin Impact in the second half of version 6.0, so you can still save up for her if you want her. If you need her will depend primarily on whether you enjoy playing Nilou and other Bloom teams in general. If you do, she’s a must-pull, if you don’t, you won’t miss out on much. She’s clearly a character meant to take characters that have fallen behind in the current meta to the next level instead of redefining gameplay of any of the currently most powerful characters.
If you will decide to pull for her, check out cheap top up options on Eldorado.gg. This way you can get primogems needed for your pulls cheaper than buying them via in-game shop.
