GTA 6 Weapons List (2026): All Guns Spotted So Far

Summary

GTA 6’s spotted arsenal includes pistols, shotguns, SMGs, rifles, and special weapons, with realistic designs and extensive customization options. Reported mechanics include carrying up to four firearms and storing additional weapons in your vehicle’s trunk, but the full weapon list and final details remain to be revealed.

GTA 6 weaponsGTA 6 weapons are more realistic and customizable compared to GTA 5 and even Red Dead Redemption 2. GTA 6 screenshots, trailers, Extended Look, and leaks show a much more grounded approach to firearms, with in-game weapon models closer to their real-world counterparts than ever before. GTA 6 weapons are instantly recognizable, with no completely fictional weapons spotted so far.

Here’s a breakdown of every weapon spotted in GTA 6 so far, including handguns and shotguns, SMGs, rifles, and more. The list includes real-world weapon names, with in-game names where available. A gun’s appearance does not always confirm its exact model. Different configurations may represent attachments rather than separate weapons.

The list will be constantly updated as Rockstar releases more marketing material until the eventual GTA 6 release on November 19, 2026, on consoles and later on PC.

GTA 6 weapon mechanics

In GTA 6, you can carry only 4 firearms, just like in RDR2: two handguns and two long weapons on your back at most. Your personal vehicle functions as a weapon locker, as you can store weapons in the trunk.

You can pick up and drop any weapon from downed NPCs. This way, you’ll always have something in your arsenal even without bringing weapons from your vehicle.

Upon death or arrest, you lose all pickup weapons, while personal weapons will always be found in the trunk of your vehicle.
