What’s new in Steal an Egg Update 7?

The main additions in Steal an Egg Update 7 include:

• Enchanted Forest: A brand-new biome with 8 new pets to discover.
• Wisp: Help a lost Wisp complete its quests and return home to the Enchanted Tree.
• Enchanted Tree: Unlock the tree to access the new Butterfly Bloom event.
• Butterfly Net: Grab the new net inside the Enchanted Tree and use it to catch butterflies.
• Butterfly Bloom: Catch butterflies and exchange them for the new Enchanted mutation consumable.
• Enchanted mutation: The new consumable has a 100% chance to apply the mutation.
• 2 Hidden Secrets: Discover a secret musical band and a hidden Fusion Machine inside the biome.
• New fusion pet: Use the new Fusion Machine to obtain a new Divine egg (Spirit World Guardian).

Steal an Egg Enchanted Forest

The biggest addition in Steal an Egg Update 7 is the Enchanted Forest, a brand-new biome with 8 new pets, secrets, and a new event.

The Enchanted Forest introduces a mysterious Wisp and a blocked Enchanted Tree. To open the tree, you’ll need to help the Wisp grow stronger by completing a series of increasingly difficult quests.

How to unlock the Enchanted Tree in Steal an Egg 

Opening the Enchanted Tree not only helps the Wisp go home, but also unlocks the biggest content additions in this game: the Butterfly Bloom event, mushroom mini-game, secret musical band, and new Fusion Machine.

Basic progression to open the Enchanted Tree:

1. Enter the Enchanted Forest biome.
2. Find and talk to the Wisp (you must have 50B Speed).
3. Complete its quests.
4. Lead the Wisp back to the Enchanted Tree – this unlocks the tree. 
5. Enter the tree to access the Butterfly Bloom content.

Wisp quest requirements

You’ll need to complete three quests to help the Wisp gather enough strength to open the Enchanted Tree.

1. Steal 20 Enchanted Forest eggs – You need at least 50B Speed to steal them yourself, or you can steal them from another player.
2. Fuse an Enchanted Forest pet – Hatch the eggs, then fuse three pets of the same type in the Fusion Machine.
3. Steal an Eternal – The most difficult quest and usually the longest to complete.

Successfully finishing all three quests will result in a fully kitted-out Wisp

Once you’ve completed all three quests, return to the Enchanted Tree with the Wisp following you to unlock it.

NOTE: For the final quest, you must steal an Eternal. Buying an Extinction Egg and getting an Eternal from it will not complete the quest. 

Butterfly Bloom event

Once you’ve unlocked the Enchanted Tree, head inside and pick up the new Butterfly Net. This unlocks the Butterfly Bloom event, where you can catch butterflies and exchange them for the new Enchanted mutation. 

You’ll also find the Convert Shop and Enchanted Mutation Shrine inside the Enchanted Tree. The Convert Shop lets you trade lower-tier butterflies for higher-tier ones, while the shrine creates Enchanted Essence.

The Convert Shop lets you trade 10 Emerald Butterflies for 1 Sapphire, 10 Sapphire Butterflies for 1 Amethyst, or 50 Emerald Butterflies for 1 Radiant Butterfly. 

Requirements to get a new Enchanted mutation

Butterfly Bloom event loop:

• Catch butterflies: Every 30 minutes, at the 15 and 45-minute marks, you can catch butterflies in the Enchanted Forest. 
• Convert butterflies: Use the Convert Shop to trade lower-tier butterflies for the ones you need. 
• Collect the required butterflies: Gather 240 Emerald, 115 Sapphire, 40 Amethyst, and 1 Radiant Butterfly. 
• Craft Enchanted Essence: Take all the required butterflies to the Enchanted Mutation Shrine to create Enchanted Essence.

The main reward from the Butterfly Bloom event is the Enchanted mutation consumable. Applying Enchanted Essence to any non-mutated egg 100% guarantees an Enchanted mutation.

Steal an Egg: Enchanted Forest Secrets

There are two secrets hidden inside the Enchanted Tree:

• 🎵 A secret musical band
• 🥚 A hidden Fusion Machine

To unlock the Fusion Machine, you’ll first need to find musicians.

Secret #1: Find the hidden musical band  

To find the hidden band, reach the mushroom chamber and complete a Simon Says-style mushroom game. Follow these steps:  

1. Go to the top of the spiral inside the Enchanted Tree. 
2. Walk to the edge and jump down onto the platform behind the Convert Shop. 
3. Step off the platform into the rising steam. 
4. You’ll be teleported to a room with glowing mushrooms.
5. Complete the Simon Says-style memory game by hitting the mushrooms in the correct order. 
6. The door to the hidden room will open. 
7. Talk to Jitterbug to receive Cricket’s Banjo and a Jitterbug Egg.

You’ll need to play a mini-game by memorizing and smacking light-up mushrooms in the correct sequence.

Secret #2: Find the hidden Fusion Machine 

Once you have Cricket’s Banjo, you can use it to unlock the hidden Fusion Machine. 

• Return to the top of the Enchanted Tree and head to the missing bridge. 
• Equip Cricket’s Banjo and walk toward the bridge’s edge.
• Activate the bridge by approaching the edge with the Banjo equipped. 
• Cross the bridge to reach the hidden Fusion Chamber.

How to use the new Fusion Machine

The new Fusion Machine requires two players to create the new divine pet – Spirit World Guardian.

Each player must provide:

• 1× Celestial Lion
• 1× Royal Skywhale

Once both players add their pets, the 4-pet fusion creates 1× Spirit World Guardian egg.
