What makes Ice Serpent special?
The GAG2 Ice Serpent provides passive defense against thieves in your garden. Rather than simply reducing their health, it freezes them outright, stopping the heist in its tracks and giving you plenty of time to intercept the thieves.
In addition to the standard Ice Serpent, there are also Big and Mega versions, as well as Rainbow variations of each. These are even harder to get, requiring you to finish higher in guild leaderboards, but they offer far greater protection by freezing intruders for longer.
How to get Ice Serpent in Grow a Garden 2
There are two ways to get Ice Serpent in GaG2:
- Rank high on guild leaderboards.
- Trade with other players.
Get Ice Serpent from guild leaderboards
The traditional way to obtain an Ice Serpent is through a guild. You must finish in the top 100 on a guild leaderboard. You can either create your own guild for 99 Robux or join an existing one.
Once you’re in a guild, start harvesting plants to collect points and climb the weekly leaderboards. You will earn 1 point for every kilogram of your harvested crops, but only the ones you harvest as a guild member will count toward your total.
Focus on the heaviest possible crops, including Ghost Pepper, Mushroom, Bamboo, Dragon’s Breath, and Moon Bloom, as these earn the most points.

All Ice Serpent variants and guild rank requirements
If you finish in the top 100 places, you’ll get your Ice Serpent. If you edge into the top 25, 10, or even the top 3, your reward will upgrade to one of the Big or Mega variants. You’ll receive your reward in your mailbox once the weekly competition ends.
Ice Serpent rewards depend on your final guild leaderboard rank. The higher your guild places, the rarer and more valuable your Ice Serpent variant becomes.

How to use Ice Serpent
Ice Serpent does its job automatically. Just make sure it’s equipped in your Active Pets menu, and it will watch over your garden. You can stack it with other pets to further bolster your defenses.
Compared to pets like Bee, which disrupt intruders’ movement, Ice Serpent is stronger defensively as it freezes thieves completely rather than just making escape harder.
