Break and Steal an Egg currently has 10 biomes, starting with Forest at 5 Speed and ending with its newest addition – Planet X at 100B Speed. As you move farther from the Safe Zone, Speed requirements increase, guardians become harder to escape, and available eggs reach higher rarity tiers.
Reaching the recommended Speed is important, but it doesn’t always guarantee an easy escape. Once you steal a pet, the biome guardian starts chasing you, and heavier pets make the trip back harder.
Below, we cover every Break and Steal an Egg biome in order, including its recommended Speed, guardian difficulty, and what you need to know before attempting a steal.
All Break and Steal an Egg biomes, guardians & Speed requirements
As you move further from the Safe Zone, each new biome requires more Speed, has a tougher guardian, and gives you access to higher-rarity eggs and pets.
There are currently 10 biomes in Break and Steal an Egg:
- Forest
- Desert
- Snowy
- Candy
- Swamp
- Ocean
- Volcano (Hell)
- Blossom
- Galaxy
- Planet X
Planet X is the newest and furthest biome, added in October 2026. You’ll need around 100B Speed before attempting it, compared to only 5 Speed for Forest. Speed values are recommended targets, not guaranteed escape thresholds, since carrying heavier pets slow you down.
| Biome | Recommended Speed | Guardian | Guardian difficulty |
|---|---|---|---|
| Forest | 5 | Chicken | Easy |
| Desert | 1K | Sphynx | Medium |
| Snowy | 50K | Bigfoot | Hard |
| Candy | 750K | Serpent | Extra Hard |
| Swamp | 12M | Mammoth | Insane |
| Ocean | 150M | Crab | Demon |
| Volcano | 1B | Mole | Impossible |
| Blossom | 5B | Chimera | Insane |
| Galaxy | 25B | Hydra | Brutal |

How does stealing eggs from biomes work?
Your goal is to break an egg, pick up the animal inside, and carry it back to the Safe Zone before the biome guardian catches you. The basic Break and Steal an Egg progression follows the same loop:
- Train Speed.
- Reach a biome.
- Break an egg.
- Steal the animal.
- Escape the guardian.
- Bring the animal back to your base.
Once you place the animal at your base, it starts generating Cash.
Is the recommended Speed enough to steal an egg?
Not always. The listed Speed gives you a good starting point for each biome, but the animal you steal can slow you down depending on its weight. A heavier animal means you may need more Speed than recommended to make it back safely.
If the guardian catches you on the way back, you drop the animal on the ground instead of delivering it to your base. You can try to pick it up again, but another player can grab the dropped animal before you do.
How to get Speed fast and reach new biomes in Break and Steal an Egg
To unlock new biomes faster, focus on increasing your Speed and Cash income while minimizing failed steals. Follow these tips to progress efficiently:
- Upgrade your Treadmill and Trails. Higher-level Treadmills and better Trails boost your Speed gains, helping you reach new biomes faster.
- Equip your best animals. Keep high-income animals at your base to generate more Cash for upgrades. Always press “Equip best” and collect offline earnings regularly.
- Upgrade your Pickaxe. A stronger Pickaxe lets you break eggs faster, reducing downtime.
- Train beyond biome Speed requirements. Heavier animals slow you down, so build extra Speed to escape guardians safely.
- Farm easier targets when necessary. Avoid repeatedly failing difficult steals. Focus on reliable Cash income until you’re ready for tougher biomes.
- Always attend Admin Abuse. The Admin Abuse events happen every week and give universal boosts.
The key to progressing quickly is balancing Speed training, Cash generation, and efficient stealing.
What is the hardest biome in Break and Steal an Egg?
Planet X is the hardest biome to reach: it requires 100B Speed and has a Nightmare guardian. However, the biggest Speed jump comes much earlier.
| Hardest biome progressions | Speed increase | How many times higher |
|---|---|---|
| Forest to Desert | From 5 to 1K | 200× |
| Desert to Snowy | From 1K to 50K | 50× |
| Candy to Swamp | From 750K to 12M | 16× |
| Snowy to Candy | From 50K to 750K | 15× |
| Swamp to Ocean | From 12M to 150M | 12.5× |
Forest to Desert is the biggest jump, requiring 200× as much Speed. Later jumps are smaller, but they take longer to grind because you need millions or billions of Speed. Planet X is still the toughest biome overall. You need 100B Speed to reach it, and heavier animals make escaping its guardian even harder.
