Eggs are the main way to get pets in Break and Steal an Egg (Roblox). Use pickaxes to break eggs scattered across different biomes, then carry the hatched pets back to your base while avoiding guardians.
Eggs come in various rarity tiers, ranging from Common to Secret, with rarer eggs found in more challenging zones. Once collected, pets generate passive income, allowing you to upgrade their speed, base, pickaxe, and trail to unlock better opportunities and collect increasingly valuable pets.
Each area has 3 different eggs, but individual pets aren’t tied to a specific egg. Any of the 3 eggs can hatch any pet available in that area. With this in mind, eggs with more HP have a better chance of hatching higher-rarity pets.

How do eggs work in Break and Steal an Egg?
In Break and Steal an Egg, use pickaxes to break eggs 🥚⛏️ found throughout the game’s different biomes. Breaking an egg reveals a pet, which you must then carry safely back to your base while avoiding guardians and other players smashing you with bats.
Once delivered, the pet generates passive income you can spend to upgrade your speed, pickaxe, base, and trail. These upgrades help you progress through more challenging biomes and collect increasingly valuable pets.
Each biome features three different eggs, but pets aren’t exclusive to any single egg type. Instead, all three eggs in a biome can reveal pets from the same area’s pet pool.
The main difference is egg HP: eggs with more HP offer better chances of higher-rarity pets. However, higher HP doesn’t guarantee that you’ll receive a specific rare pet.
