Seeds are the foundation of every garden in Grow a Garden 2. In GaG2, seeds range from 1 to 90 million in in-game currency (Sheckles). Each seed has different in-game prices and crop values, rarities, harvest types, shop availability chances, and marketplace trading offers. Due to limited seed stocks in Sam’s Shop, you might run into shortages even if you have enough Sheckles. To progress faster, player-to-player trading is a viable option.
Here, you’ll find all available seeds in Grow a Garden 2, including Sam’s Shop seeds, Ghost Pepper Pack seeds, event seeds, the best seeds to buy first, and a full seed tier list.

How to get seeds in Grow a Garden 2?
The most common way to get Grow a Garden 2 seeds is from Sam’s Shop, but it’s not the only one.
- Buying seeds from Sam. Here, you can buy seeds that are currently in stock. The seeds are restocked every 5 minutes, though you never know what you will get.
- Getting the Ghost Pepper Pack. From the game store, you can buy the Ghost Pepper Pack for a chance to roll out one of the 5 seeds: Baby Cactus, Horned Melon, Glow Mushroom, Poison Ivy, and Ghost Pepper.
- Stealing crops at night. On a public server, you can steal crops from other players. It’s like Steal a Brainrot, but more chill because you can avoid being stolen from. To do so, just stand in your garden at night.
- Checking marketplaces. If your goal is to skip the grind, there are plenty of items available for purchase on marketplaces like Eldorado.gg, where other players sell their seeds.
- Using pets. Pets have special abilities, and one of them, Robin, can drop random plant seeds from the eaten fruit. This Legendary Grow a Garden 2 pet with a 2.86% spawn chance is purchasable for 75K Sheckles.

Best seeds to buy first in Grow a Garden 2
Start with multi-harvest crops because they produce repeatedly without needing new seeds after every harvest. More specifically, prioritize Tomatoes and Corn, then buy Green Beans (or use a GaG2 code) once you have enough money.
- Strawberries are cheap, grow plentifully, and suit early earnings, but should be replaced quickly.
- Tomatoes are the strongest early upgrade, producing frequent harvests with decent returns.
- Corn costs more than the other starter options, but its large yields quickly justify the cost.
- Green Beans grow quickly, sell well in bulk, and mutations further increase their value.
