Seeds are the foundation of every garden in Grow a Garden 2. In GaG2, seeds range from 1 to 315 million in-game currency (Sheckles). Each seed has different prices, crops, rarities, harvest types, and shop stock chances. Due to limited seed stock in Sam’s Shop, you might run into shortages even if you have enough Sheckles.
Here, you’ll find all available seeds in Grow a Garden 2, including Garden Valley and Fall Harvest seeds, Premium seed packs, event seeds, and Secret seeds. Also, the seed tier lists will help you decide how to progress with your garden.

How to get seeds in Grow a Garden 2?
The most common way to get Grow a Garden 2 seeds is from Sam’s Shop, but it’s not the only one.
- Buying seeds from Sam. Here, you can buy seeds that are currently in stock. The seeds are restocked every 5 minutes, though you never know what you will get.
- Getting the premium packs. At the game store, you can buy the Ghost Pepper Pack and Harvest Pack for a chance to roll one of 5 seeds inside.
- Stealing crops at night. On a public server, you can steal crops from other players. It’s like Steal a Brainrot, but more chill because you can avoid being stolen from. To do so, just stand in your garden at night.
- Checking marketplaces. If your goal is to skip the grind, there are plenty of items available for purchase on marketplaces like Eldorado.gg, where other players sell their seeds.
- Using pets. Pets have special abilities, and one of them, Robin, can drop random plant seeds from the fruit they eat. This Legendary Grow a Garden 2 pet with a 2.86% stock chance is purchasable for 75K Sheckles.
Grow a Garden 2 seed tier list

Garden Valley seed tier list
| Tier | Seeds | Reasoning |
|---|---|---|
| S | Eclipse Bloom (Secret), Rocket Pop, Star Fruit, Moon Bloom, Sun Bloom, Hypno Bloom, Dragon’s Breath, Venom Spitter, Ghost Pepper, Venus Flytrap | High earning potential with repeat harvests, defensive effects, mutation utility, or unique limited abilities. |
| A | Rainbow (Event), Mega (Event), Gold (Event), Briar Rose, Poison Ivy, Mushroom, Sunflower, Poison Apple, Pomegranate, Glow Mushroom | Excellent late-game crops that can be highly profitable or useful, but are less consistent, more difficult to obtain, or slightly outclassed by S-tier seeds. |
| B | Fire Fern, Cherry, Acorn, Dragon Fruit, Horned Melon, Bamboo, Mango, Baby Cactus | Strong progression seeds with respectable crop values. They remain useful for established gardens but lack the effects or profits of the top tiers. |
| C | Coconut, Grape, Banana, Green Bean, Pineapple, Cactus, Corn, Apple, Tulip | Low-profit seeds when saving for better crops. |
| D | Tomato, Blueberry, Strawberry, Carrot | Cheap starter seeds with poor returns. |
Fall Harvest seed tier list
| Tier | Seeds | Reasoning |
|---|---|---|
| S | Atlantic Giant Pumpkin, Amber Cranberry, Romanesco, Conifer Cone, Maple Venom Spitter, Plum | The best combination of value, rarity, repeat harvesting, mutation utility, or distinctive special mechanics. |
| A | Maple Mushroom, Maple Venus Fly Trap, Honeysuckle, Cinnamon Stick, Maple Poison Apple, Maple Pomegranate, Maple Sunflower | Strong earning potential. Target these after reaching the later stages of Fall Harvest progression. |
| B | Potato, Maple Bamboo, Maple Cherry, Maple Acorn, Maple Dragon Fruit, Maple Mango | Mid-to-late-game crops. They are valuable upgrades but do not provide the same returns or utility as the rarest Fall Harvest plants. |
| C | Maple Coconut, Maple Grape, Maple Apple, Maple Cactus, Maple Banana, Maple Pineapple, Maple Corn, Maple Green Bean | Useful progression crops but are generally replaceable. |
| D | Maple Tulip, Maple Tomato, Maple Blueberry, Maple Strawberry, Maple Carrot | Cheap starter seeds with poor returns. |
Best seeds to buy first in Grow a Garden 2
Start with multi-harvest crops because they produce repeatedly without needing new seeds after every harvest. More specifically, prioritize Tomatoes and berries and get Green Beans for free (use a GaG2 code).
- Strawberries are cheap, grow plentifully, and suit early earnings, but you should replace them quickly.
- Tomatoes are the strongest early upgrade, producing frequent harvests with decent returns.
- Green Beans grow quickly, sell well in bulk, and mutations further increase their value.
