How to defeat Dr. Scramble
The objective is simple: defeat Dr. Scramble and earn rewards. Each victory earns you Samples, continuing the currency system introduced with the original Dr. Scramble event.
Dr. Scramble Mecha fight has 3 phases.
Phase 1
During Phase 1, Dr. Scramble’s Mecha uses three attacks:
- Spin attack: A short-range spinning attack.
- Ground slam: Dr. Scramble slams into the ground, creating a shockwave.
- Laser attack: The Mecha fires a laser around the arena.

Indication of Dr. Scramble’s spinning attack

Dr. Scramble scrambles his head by bashing into the ground to create a shockwave

The laser is relatively easy to avoid if you stay close to the Mecha

The best time to attack is when the Mecha overheats.
Phase 2
During Phase 2, Dr. Scramble adds two more attacks to the fight.
- Mecha Chompa: Dr. Scramble summons the new Mecha Chompa 🐊 pet for assistance.
- High-speed dash: The Mecha performs a fast straight-line dash.

Mecha Chompa tries to keep you off his master

Straight dashes can sometimes catch you off guard
Phase 3
In Phase 3, Dr. Scramble abandons his destroyed Mecha and escapes inside its remaining Core. You must hunt down the Core and destroy it to force Dr. Scramble out.
- Drones: Dr. Scramble still summons some of the drones from the previous update to get in your way.
- Power pylons: Lead the Core into the power pylons to stun it and make it vulnerable.
Once you destroy the Core, Dr. Scramble is exposed. Hunt him down and land the final hits to finish the fight.

Lure the good doctor into a power pylon to stun him

After destroying the Core, what’s left is to beat the living daylights out of him

The Laboratory also comes with an improved pity system. Previously, reaching pity could reward you with one of the Top 3 rewards. In Update 6, reaching pity now guarantees the banner’s top reward.
Extinction Egg
The new paid Extinction Egg is themed around prehistoric and extinct animals and contains six new extinct pets.

When you hatch an Extinction Egg, there is a small chance to reroll your hatch into skeletal form
