Steal an Egg Update 4, Angels vs Demons, is here with a brand-new biome, 18 new pets, a new Luminous Egg, and additional base and Treadmill upgrades. The latest update introduces a nightly Angels vs Demons mechanic, giving you a chance to find different pet eggs depending on which side takes over the biome.
A mysterious Secret Merged biome may also appear, combining both sides and providing extra luck while active.

What’s new in Steal an Egg update 4?
The Angels vs Demons update adds a range of new content:
- Angels vs Demons biome – a new biome that can transform into either an Angel or Demon version after every night.
- 18 new pets – eight new Light pets and eight new Darkness pets are available to collect.
- Luminous Egg – a new egg that can rarely re-roll into a Luminous variant of a pet.
- Secret Shrine – a hidden shrine you can find behind the waterfall or magma flow in the new biome.
- New Treadmill & Trail – a new tier of upgrades lets you increase your movement speed even further.

Angels vs Demons biome
The biggest addition in Steal an Egg Update 4 is the new Angels vs Demons Biome.
After every night, the biome has a chance to transform into either the Angels or Demons version. Each version features eight unique eggs to steal, with the Demon version featuring Darkness pets and the Angel version introducing Light pets.

Secret Merged biome
There’s more to the new biome than simply choosing between Angels and Demons.
A Secret Merged biome can also appear. This special version combines the Angels and Demons themes and provides extra luck while it is active.

Secret Shrine
Update 4 also adds a Secret Shrine, a hidden location in the new Angels vs Demons biome. The Shrine lets you create fusion pets by combining matching Light and Darkness pets of the same rarity.
- You can craft two fusion pets using Eternal or Divine pets.
How to find the Secret Shrine
The Secret Shrine is located on the left side of the biome, behind the largest waterfall or biggest magma flow. If the biome transforms into the Angel biome, look behind the largest waterfall. If it becomes the Demon biome, head to the biggest magma flow instead.
To enter the Shrine:
- Go to the largest waterfall or magma flow.
- Jump a few times to trigger the entrance.

How to use the Secret Shrine
The Secret Shrine lets you create special pets by pairing matching Light and Darkness pets of the same rarity.
- Bring either Eternal or Divine pets from the Angelic and Demonic biomes.
- Place them on the respective platforms in the Secret Shrine.

New Luminous Egg
The Monster Egg was replaced with the new Luminous Egg in Update 4. The Luminous Egg works the same as the Monster Egg, with a rare chance to re-roll and unlock a Luminous variant of a pet.

Update 4 introduces a new tier of Treadmill and Trail upgrades, allowing you to increase your movement speed even further.
- Moonbloom Trail provides a 20× speed boost.
