How to defeat the Pumpkin Boss in Steal an Egg
The Steal an Egg Halloween Part 2 update introduces a new Pumpkin boss fight with two phases:
- First, against Pumpkin Brute.
- Then, against Pumpkin King.
You’ll need to dodge their attacks and work with other players to defeat both bosses.
Pumpkin Brute awakens from its slumber
Phase 1: Pumpkin Brute
During the first phase, Pumpkin Brute uses several attacks to knock players down or trap them. Watch for the following:
- Ground Slam: A short-range radial attack.
- Bursting Vines: Vines trap players in a small area.
- Pumpkin Bombs: Explosive pumpkins create small area-of-effect blasts.
- High-Speed Dash: Pumpkin Brute dashes forward and knocks down players in its path.
- Frontal Slash: A wide attack that covers roughly 150 degrees in front of the boss.
Ground slam – move farther away from the boss to avoid taking damage
Bursting vine attack – if you get caught, other players can help free you, or you can wait for the timer to expire
Pumpkin bombs – keep your distance to avoid the explosions
High-Speed Dash – move out of the way when it charges
Frontal Slash – avoid standing directly in front of it
Phase 2: Pumpkin King and regeneration
In the second phase, you’ll face Pumpkin King, who introduces an additional attack and eventually regenerates health behind a protective shield.
- Pumpkin Minions: Pumpkin King periodically summons small pumpkin minions.
- Regeneration and shield: When Pumpkin King retreats to regenerate its health, it activates a protective shield. You’ll need to activate the nearby cannons to break through the shield, stun the boss, and deal significant damage.
- Cannon mechanic: First, clear the roots blocking the cannons by hitting them. Once the cannons are working, use them to lower Pumpkin King’s shield and remove a large chunk of its health while it is stunned.
Pumpkin King summons Pumpkin Minions – they explode after prolonged contact, so avoid staying too close for too long
Smack the cannons with a melee weapon to first remove vines and then fire them
After the cannon attack, Pumpkin King returns to the arena for a final stand
Pumpkin Boss Milestone rewards
Defeating the Pumpkin boss also progresses the new Boss Mastery reward track. The update introduces 65 reward tiers, with Halloween pets and other exclusive rewards available as you progress.

How to unlock the Abandoned Manor in Steal an Egg
You can finally enter the Abandoned Manor in the Halloween Part 2 update. However, you need to find a key hidden in a secret fishing area before you can unlock the manor door.
How to get the Manor Key
Follow these steps to find the underground fishing area and obtain the Manor Key:
- Board the Phantom Express: Use your Phantom Express Ticket to travel to Forgotten Town.
- Find the hidden whirlpool: Look for a glowing whirlpool in the nearby lake, just beyond the town.
- Enter the secret fishing area: Jump into the whirlpool to reach the underground area.
- Find NPC Gus: Speak to Gus, who explains that he has lost the Manor Key.
- Fish for the key: Use your Haunted Rod in the underground fishing area until you obtain the Manor Key.
- Unlock the manor: Return to the Abandoned Manor and interact with the locked door to open it.
Once you have the key, you can enter the manor and explore its interior, including the new Divine Fusion Machine.

Unlocking Abandoned Manor
New Divine Fusion Machine in Steal an Egg
The Halloween Part 2 update introduces a secret Divine Fusion Machine inside the Abandoned Manor. It allows players to create the new Divine Cursed Monarch by combining specific pets with another player.
Where to find the Divine Fusion Machine
After unlocking the Abandoned Manor, head inside and go to the second floor. The Fusion Machine is located in an upstairs room.
Once inside the manor, head upstairs to reach the new Fusion Machine
How to fuse the Divine Cursed Monarch
Fusion requires two players and four pets total.
Each player must provide:
- 1x Eternal Ghost Fish.
- 1x Divine Voidseer Pumpkin.
NOTE: Make sure both players have the required pets before starting.

Hollow event
The Halloween event also includes the Hollow racing event, where you can earn an exclusive badge by winning races.

How to get the Hollow badge in Steal an Egg
To earn the Hollow badge, win three races in the Hollow event.
- Find the Hollow event button on the right side of the screen.
- Open the event menu and select the option to teleport to the race.
- Participate in a race and aim to finish first.
- Repeat until you’ve won three races.
- Claim the available rewards, including the Hollow event badge.
The event uses a race track similar to the Nitro Race introduced in Update 8, with boosters along the course. The Hollow event features a Halloween-themed design.
Winning races also provides other rewards, including Cash and Speed boosts. Check the event menu to see your current progress and available prizes.
