How to Make Coins Fast in EA FC 27 Ultimate Team

Summary

A typical FC 26 match paid 500 to 600 coins. In FC 27, EA says Rivals and Champions pay several times more, and every Rivals pack reward is tradeable. Sell your extra cards, flip them or hand them in for SBCs, but keep in mind that EA takes 5% of every sale.

EA FC 27 How to Make CoinsIn FC 27, EA raised match payouts, made more rewards tradeable, and added Streamlined SBCs. Follow this guide to learn four ways to earn coins through these changes.

Earn FC 27 coins through matches, trading, and SBCs

  • This year, matches pay more coins, and you can trade all Rivals pack rewards.
  • You can sell tradeable cards on the Transfer Market or Quick Sell them for coins right away.
  • You can flip cards for a profit, but keep in mind that EA takes a 5% tax on every sale.
  • You can hand in extra cards to Streamlined SBCs, and duplicates do count.

#1 Play Rivals and Squad Battles first

In EA FC, matches are your safest source of coins – they cost you nothing, and EA just raised the payout this year.

While in FC 26, you were able to earn about 500 to 600 coins from a typical match, in FC 27, EA says you can earn several times more in Rivals and Champions. Squad Battles pays more, too. EA hasn’t published an exact number, so what you earn depends on the mode and your result. If you want to win more matches, try the best formations and tactic codes for FC 27.

Rivals

Rivals is an online mode where you play other players. The higher you climb, the bigger your rewards get. For example, at launch, you can win 95,000 coins and several player packs from the upgraded Division 1 rewards.

Furthermore, EA made all Rivals pack rewards tradeable at launch, so you can just sell the cards you don’t need.

Squad Battles

However, if you’d rather play alone, choose Squad Battles, where you play with computer-controlled squads. In Squad Battles, you’re also able to earn Champions Qualification Points. This way, you can work toward Champions without having to interact with other players online. So what can you do with those packs and cards?

#2 Sell your tradeable rewards

Your matches fill your club with cards. And now, you can turn them into coins.

Some good news: This year, more of your rewards are tradeable, so you can sell more of what you earn. This includes rewards from Objectives and game modes, not only Rivals packs.

How to know whether your card is tradeable?

  • A tradeable card is one you’re able to list on the Transfer Market – the in-game marketplace where players buy and sell cards.
  • Untradeable items work differently – you can’t list them, and Quick Sell pays zero coins for them.

Therefore, you should check each card’s label before you plan a sale.

There are two ways to sell your card:

  • Transfer Market: Listing the card on the Transfer Market lets you set your own price, but a buyer isn’t guaranteed.
  • Quick Sell: It gives you a fixed number of coins right away. EA changed Quick Sell values this year, so player cards now pay closer to what Rare cards paid before.

That said, it’s best if you compare the Quick Sell price with the market price before you choose.

Before you list a card, there’s something else you should keep in mind: there’s one fee that can result in a loss, not a profit.

#3 Flip cards on the Transfer Market

In EA FC, you can flip cards for profit – you buy a card low, then sell it for more.

However, EA takes a 5% tax from every sale. The game removes it from the price when your card sells. So you need to sell for more than you paid, plus the tax.

Here’s an example scenario:

  • You buy a card for 10,000 coins.
  • You sell it for 12,000 coins.
  • The tax is 600 coins.
  • You receive 11,400 coins.
  • Your profit is 1,400 coins.

Prices change often, so you should check the current price before you buy and again before you list.

NOTE: EA sets the tax and can change it. Before you trade, check the exact amount in the game.

Flipping takes time, and you may not want to trade every card. In that case, the solution is duplicate cards that are already in your club.

#4 Use your extra cards in Streamlined SBCs

SBC stands for Squad Building Challenge, where you give your cards, and you get rewards in return.

In FC 27, there’s a new type of SBC format called Streamlined SBCs. Each card has an Item Score, which is based on its rating and rarity. The challenge sets a target score – you add cards until you reach it.

Fortunately, there are 3 things to make it easy to use your extra cards:

  • Duplicates count. You can submit several copies of the same player.
  • Progress is saved. You don’t need every card at once. You can submit in several rounds.
  • No chemistry or position rules. You only need to reach the score.

Keep in mind that submitted cards leave your club for good. A tradeable card might sell for more coins than it adds to the score. That being said, you should compare the two – card’s market price vs. its score value – before you submit.
