Adopt Me Eggs List: Values, Prices & Hatch Chances

Summary

Adopt Me has 38 eggs in total, but only 10 can currently be obtained in-game, while the other 28 are limited, event-exclusive, or trading-only. Their value depends on rarity, availability, age, hatch chances, and demand, with some priced at 350 Bucks, while others are worth over $100 on the trading market.

Adopt Me EggsAdopt Me eggs are the main way to get pets, but limited releases become accessible only through trading and marketplaces after leaving the game. Eggs’ prices range from free to 4K Tickets, market values can exceed $100, and Legendary hatch chances vary from 0% to 100%. Rarity alone doesn’t show how valuable an Egg is.

We listed rarities, original in-game prices, current trading values, availability, pet hatch chances, and groups of all 38 Adopt Me eggs here, so you can focus on grinding, not research.

Complete Adopt Me egg values list

Every player starts their egg collection with a free Starter Egg (Common rarity) when they enter the game, but they cannot trade it. From then on, it’s entirely up to you which eggs you will aim for.

Adopt Me eggs come in 4 different rarities:

  • Common
  • Uncommon
  • Rare
  • Legendary

To complete the collection, you will need to collect 38 eggs in total (including the Starter Egg). However, collecting them all won’t be easy because some eggs appeared only briefly and have since left the game, leaving you with trading as the only option.

Below are all the eggs in Adopt Me you’ll need to grind to complete your collection. Trading values are based on the Eldorado.gg marketplace listings.

What are Adopt Me eggs?

To get an Adopt Me pet, you must first hatch an egg. A random pet (among possible options, whether it’s a Siamese Cat or the Cryptid pet) will hatch from the collected egg once the required tasks are completed. The whole process is almost identical to caring for pets and babies.

It’s also possible to avoid all this struggle and just buy the Instant Hatch gamepass for 35 Robux.

Types of eggs in Adopt Me

Some eggs are permanent, while others rotate, appear during limited events (such as Admin Abuse), or come from special rewards. Groups show where the egg came from and whether players can still obtain it in-game.

An egg’s group doesn’t determine its rarity, hatch chances, or trading value. It only shows whether you can still get the egg yourself in-game or if you need to look up marketplaces and trade for it instead.

How do hatch chances work?

Hatch chances show the probability of receiving Adopt Me pets from each rarity, not the odds for a specific pet. If one egg can hatch several Legendary pets, those pets share the listed Legendary chance.

Royal, Crystal, and Safari Eggs are some of the most valuable ones in the game because of their hatch odds and high trading values. Meanwhile, Golden and Diamond Eggs are the way to go if you want the rarest pets, as they guarantee Legendary rarity ones with a 100% chance.

An egg’s rarity and hatch chances are separate things. A Legendary egg can still hatch a Common pet. For instance, the Endangered Egg is Legendary rarity, but only has a 3% chance of hatching a Legendary pet.

How to get eggs in Adopt Me?

The easiest way to get an Adopt Me egg depends on whether it is currently sold in the Nursery, tied to an active event, or already available only through trading. In total, there are 6 ways to get an egg.

  1. Buy the egg from the Nursery. Travel to the Nursery on Adoption Island and check either the Gumball Machine inside the building or the pedestal near its entrance, whichever is closer.
  2. Buy eggs with Robux. Instead of spending Bucks, you can purchase a bundle of four eggs for 99 Robux.
  3. Check active event areas. Limited eggs are usually found in a dedicated event hub. They may require specific event currency or Tickets, so you must collect them before the update or event ends.
  4. Exchange spare pets for Tickets. Some eggs are bought through the Ticket Exchange instead of with Bucks or Robux. Speak to Tom at the event hub, select a pet to release, and confirm to receive Tickets. Releasing a pet is permanent, so start with Common or Uncommon duplicates you won’t keep or trade.
  5. Exchange Tickets for eggs. Just be cautious by checking the chances carefully, as, for example, the Crystal Egg costs ten times more than the Basic, but it also has higher chances of hatching higher-rarity pets.
  6. Trade for discontinued eggs. Some eggs are no longer sold through regular gameplay. To add them to your collection, trade with another player or browse available marketplace offers.

Once you have the egg, equip it and complete the required tasks, including feeding, bathing, and playing. Finishing them faster makes hatching quicker but doesn’t improve the rarity chances.
